Customer Service Advisor

Posted 10 hours ago Verified listing

Job description

Phone and email support for an insurance team. Hybrid after month three.

An opportunity has come up for a Customer Service Advisor based in Glasgow. You would be joining a settled team that has grown steadily, and taking on work that matters to the people we serve — with the time and support to do it properly.

About the role

  • Handle incoming calls and email, resolving what you can and routing the rest accurately.
  • Keep records, spreadsheets and the CRM up to date and trustworthy.
  • Arrange meetings, travel and diaries across the team.
  • Prepare documents, reports and correspondence to a professional standard.
  • Be the person who notices the thing nobody has picked up yet.

What we are looking for

  • Confident written English and a methodical way of working.
  • The judgement to work unsupervised, and the sense to ask when something is not clear.
  • A careful approach to safety and to your own standard of work.
  • Willingness to learn the parts of this you have not done before.
  • Reliability — the team notices when somebody turns up when they said they would.

What we offer

  • A permanent contract and a proper induction, not a fortnight of guessing.
  • Paid training and support towards the qualification the role needs.
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays, rising with service.
  • Company pension, and life cover after your first year.
  • A rota published well in advance, so you can plan around it.

How to apply

Use the apply button on this page and send us a CV. A covering note is welcome but not required — if you would rather tell us in a paragraph why Customer Service Advisor is of interest, that is just as useful. We read every application and reply either way.

We are an equal opportunities employer. If you need any adjustment to the process, say so when you apply and we will arrange it.

FAQ

Can I apply if I need a visa?

Tell us your situation when you apply. We cannot sponsor every role, but we will give you a clear answer rather than leave it unsaid.

How long does the process take?

We shortlist within a week of closing and interview the week after. You will hear from us either way — nobody is left wondering.

What happens at the interview?

A conversation with the manager you would report to, about 45 minutes, plus a look round wherever you would be working. No presentations, no puzzles.

Do I need experience to apply?

Read the "What we are looking for" list above. If you meet most of it and are willing to learn the rest, apply — we would rather see you than not.

Can I visit before I apply?

Yes. Ring ahead and we will arrange a time to show you round Glasgow so you know what you are taking on.

Would you combine postage if I win more than one of your lots?

Seller 5 Sep 2026

Yes, happy to combine shipping on multiple wins — just wait for a combined invoice before paying.

It comes with the original box and most of the paperwork — see the last photo for exactly what is included.

Are you able to post internationally, and roughly what would that cost?
