Retail Supervisor

Running the floor and the rota for a city-centre store. Staff discount.

We are recruiting a Retail Supervisor to join our team in Liverpool. This is a permanent position with a proper handover, a named manager from day one, and the training you need to do the job well rather than just get through the first week.

About the role

• Run the shop floor day to day — standards, stock and the rota.
• Lead the team through busy trading and keep service consistent.
• Handle cash, deliveries, returns and the paperwork that goes with them.
• Drive sales through display, product knowledge and simply talking to customers.
• Open and close the store and take responsibility for it while you are there.

What we are looking for

• Supervisory experience on a shop floor, or the readiness to step up to it.
• The judgement to work unsupervised, and the sense to ask when something is not clear.
• A careful approach to safety and to your own standard of work.
• Willingness to learn the parts of this you have not done before.
• Reliability — the team notices when somebody turns up when they said they would.
