HR Advisor

Generalist role for 200 staff across three sites. CIPD Level 5 supported.

We are recruiting a HR Advisor to join our team in Manchester. This is a permanent position with a proper handover, a named manager from day one, and the training you need to do the job well rather than just get through the first week.

About the role

• Handle incoming calls and email, resolving what you can and routing the rest accurately.
• Keep records, spreadsheets and the CRM up to date and trustworthy.
• Arrange meetings, travel and diaries across the team.
• Prepare documents, reports and correspondence to a professional standard.
• Be the person who notices the thing nobody has picked up yet.

What we are looking for

• Confident written English and a methodical way of working.
• Reliability — the team notices when somebody turns up when they said they would.
• Clear communication with colleagues, and with customers where the role involves them.
• The judgement to work unsupervised, and the sense to ask when something is not clear.
• A careful approach to safety and to your own standard of work.
