Marketing Assistant

Email, social and event support for a small independent brand.

We are recruiting a Marketing Assistant to join our team in Bristol. This is a permanent position with a proper handover, a named manager from day one, and the training you need to do the job well rather than just get through the first week.

About the role

• Plan and produce campaigns across email, social and the website.
• Write and edit copy that sounds like us rather than like everybody else.
• Brief and work with designers, photographers and freelancers.
• Report on what performed and, more usefully, on why.
• Keep the content calendar honest and the brand consistent across every channel.

What we are looking for

• A portfolio or a couple of campaigns you are happy to talk through.
• A careful approach to safety and to your own standard of work.
• Willingness to learn the parts of this you have not done before.
• Reliability — the team notices when somebody turns up when they said they would.
• Clear communication with colleagues, and with customers where the role involves them.
